Rasorce acts as both the data Processor and Controller as defined in the directive and GDPR. Clients and Respondents will also act as Controllers for the data that Rasorce holds on them, with Rasorce acting as the Processor. 4. Who is Collecting Data?
On the website, visitor data is collected by Rasorce using third-party tools like Google Analytics and Zendesk. These tools do not retain any of your information and are not legally permitted to store or use your data. All data and information related to you resides with us only.
Data is also collected directly by Rasorce when clients share data with us to complete the tasks they require. This data is stored in cloud data storage platforms where clients have full control over what they want to keep on this platform. We do not retain any information on any other platform or within local servers and are not legally allowed to use this data for any other purpose. All data and information related to our clients resides in this platform.
5. How Data is Collected?
Data is collected in the following ways:
Cookie Data - Cookies are small pieces of information sent by a website to a Visitor’s hard disk. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. By continuing to visit the website, you agree to the placement of cookies on your device. Temporary cookies may also be used on protected and unprotected sections of our site to relay information input on one page to other areas requiring the same information. Lead Form – Visitors may share their information with us by filling out lead forms, which usually contain names, contact numbers, and email addresses. This information is used by our counselors and accountants to reach out to you and address your queries. All information shared through lead forms remains with us only.
Zendesk Chat – This live chat option is used and operated by Rasorce only. Any information you share over the live chat remains with us. We do not allow Zendesk to receive or store any information shared over the live chat.
Newsletter Subscription – The newsletter subscription is only received by visitors to our website who subscribe to our newsletter and share their name and email address with us. We follow a one-step verification process where once a visitor shares their name and email address, we send a confirmation link to their email which the owner must confirm. Only after this step is taken do we register the visitor as a subscriber to our newsletter.
Cloud Data Storage Platforms - Data collected through cloud storage is classified as input data used to prepare reports and outputs that clients need from us. These cloud data storage servers are all located in the EU where full access is with the client. Clients control this data completely, and we do not store this data elsewhere or use it for any other purpose. All data and information related to the client resides within that cloud storage only.
Client Servers - Client servers belong to the client, and access to these servers is provided by the client to Rasorce. Data cannot be copied or printed from these servers. All data and information on these client servers reside with the client only.
Emails - Data is sometimes shared by clients through emails. This data remains with us only.
